There are many ways that you can learn a new language at DIS or just brush-up on your skills:
First, check out the DIS Language Institute
The Plano Public Library offers the RosettaStone language online interactive languge learning program. The program is accessible from your home computer for free, but you will have to apply for a library card first. Library cards are free to anyone with a Texas driver's license or proof of Texas residency. This program is ideal for beginners and offers instruction in over 30 languages.
Plano Public Library also sponsors free English a Second Language (ESL) conversation classes called "Small Talk."

The Anneberg CBP Project offers their award winning language learning programs free of charge from their website. These programs are very well done and great for beginners as well as intermediates. Textbooks and other materials are available on the website, but they are not necessary to benefit from the programs.
